Hortiweave Solarweave Laminated Polyfabric

Hortiweave is a semi-transparent/opaque polyethylene polyfabric material available in various stock widths and lengths, and can also be fabricated into specific cover sizes determined by individual customer requirements.

Hortitech shadecloth is a premium knitted product made from durable, recyclable HDPE that resists rot and moisture absorption. It is available in Extra Light (30% UVR block), Light (50% UVR block), and Medium (70% UVR block) grades, supplied in multiple widths and roll lengths, with custom sewn options available. All fabrics carry a 10-year UV pro-rata warranty; however, the material is not flameproof and exposure to certain chemicals may reduce service life and void the warranty.

Weedmat Premium Heavy Duty 110gsm Weed Control

Horticraft premium commercial horticultural weedmat is UV stabilised and hard-wearing. It is durable enough to handle light wheel and foot traffic. The woven polypropylene tapes are designed to assist in the control of weeds, whilst allowing air circulation as well as letting in necessary nutrients.

Available in 1.66m, 1.83m, 3.66m and 5m wide Jumbo rolls.

Horticraft UV-Stabilised Frost Cloth

Horticraft Frost Cloth is a lightweight premium grade UV stabilised spun-bond fabric with excellent ventilation properties, water permeability, and UV resistance. It is formulated specifically for horticultural uses from spun-bonded 25gsm to 50gsm polyester fabric.

Polyester resists deterioration due to its inherent UV resistance, far advanced compared to UV stabilised additives in polypropylene. It is resistant to weather and most chemicals. This means Horticraft Frost Cloth has an exceptional life span, with additional UV stabilisation when compared to other fabric types such as polypropylene.

Horticraft Quarantine Mesh

Horticraft Quarantine Mesh integrates two methods for the control of Greenhouse pests such as thrip, aphids, leaf miner and many other insects. The dual protection begins with the mesh creating an optical deterrent that blinds and repels the insects before they reach the mesh covered area, with the fine mesh size significantly reducing the number of pests entering the structure, whilst still maintaining adequate airflow.

This net has the ability for growers to yield better quality crops, flowers or foliage; lessening the need for spraying harsh chemicals and pesticides. This net can be used in all stable structures for vegetables, herbs and flowers.

Ulstrawind Garden Windbreak provides instant, effective wind protection to support early plant establishment and help crops thrive. Manufactured from premium HDPE monofilament yarn, the knitted fabric is strong, tear-resistant, and easily cut to size without fraying.

Designed for larger commercial applications, Ulstrawind features a 50% porosity for superior wind reduction without turbulence. It reduces spray drift, improves fruit quality, minimises wind damage, and increases sheltered area temperatures. Long-lasting, pest-resistant, and unaffected by agricultural chemicals, Ulstrawind is suitable for both ULS and conventional windbreak structures.

Handyscreen Light (L) 50%-70% UVR-Block
Hortitech Handyscreen is a lightweight knitted shading fabric, primarily used for covering Greenhouses and Shadehouse structures. The material is highly durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fabric that won’t rot or absorb moisture and is 100% recyclable.

Cover should be secured well during windy or storm conditions. Handyscreen is not flameproof. Hortitech offer a 10-year UV pro-rata warranty on fabric. Contact with chemicals and/or pesticides containing sulphur, halogens or high-acidic substances may reduce the service life of fabric and void the warranty.
